Read the Fairy Tale!

Have you ever wondered where fairies go to play? It can be an enterprising endeavor. Back in the hills of the quietest, loveliest place that you will imagine, a playground that can only be found by a child’s mind awaits. It contains mystical memories of times gone by as youthful laughter lingers in the wind. A wisp of honeysuckle floats thought he air and can only be detected by those who ‘believe’.

For those who do believe in magic, they will be blessed with the random occurrence of unseen visitors. Fairies, who return lost socks, drink the milk out of the carton and return lost keys. So on the days that fairies and their friends are not preoccupied with lost things, they wander to their enchanted playground past the giggle of innocence and through the jumble of make believe.

On the edge of the playground is a modest building with a cheery disposition. It is a place to rest, relax and get out of the sun after a long day of contentment. A fresh bowl of berries will be waiting for you as you approach Tinkerbell’s Playhouse.

Read the Fairy Tale!

There once was a maiden who wandered through a forest. She spent the day collecting sticks for the fire. As it got dark she lost her way. She peered through the trees to see if she could recognize anything. Nothing looked familiar to her. She sat down on a large rock and put her head in her hands.

When she looked up there was a dragon sitting on his haunches in front of her. She gasped and nearly fell off the rock! The dragon said, “Do not be afraid. I heard you crying and landed. What is wrong?” The maiden was not sure if she could trust the dragon. For she had never heard of a nice dragon before. He saw her hesitate and said, “My name is Mike Allen and I mean you no harm.”

The maiden relaxed and shared her tail of woe, how she could not find her home. The dragon listened with concern. He asked if she meant the friendly, little cottage with the peaked roof and chimney. She did, she did, and that was her home!! The dragon had flown over it many times an offered to fly her there.

She jumped on his back, closed her eyes and hung on tight. She was ready for the ride of her life. As they got closer, the scent of homemade chocolate chip cookies wafted through the window as they approached the safety of her Garden Cottage.

Pahl & Kaye

Read the Fairy Tale!

Let me tell you about a little girl named Kaye. She was a very quizzical girl always looking for new adventures. She had a good friend named Pahl. If here was any excitement in the little village of Rocky Chester, you can bet that Pahl and Kaye were near by.

Everyone knew that trolls carried diamonds. So trolls were always on the look out for humans who were trying to catch them. Most adults were usually too distracted to see them or recognize their signature tracks in the snow. Children frequently saw the tips of their purple or blue hats. This intrigued Pahl and Kaye, so their goal was to acquire one troll with his vest full of diamonds.

On one such day Pahl and Kaye were out troll hunting. They could see the tracks of the mischievous trolls in the snow. Every time they got close to capturing one the sneaky troll would dive into a snow bank and be lost in the cold embankment.

One troll was not so lucky on this day in question. Pahl and Kay were quicker than he had expected and caught his feet as he dove for cover. The children held on as long as they could but everyone knows trolls have superhuman strength. To their dismay the troll got away but not only after much wiggling and squirming.

Pahl and Kaye sat in the snow frowning at their loss. As they looked around a glimmer caught their eye. What could this be? A small diamond had fallen from the troll’s vest! Pahl and Kaye triumphantly went back to the Swiss Chalet to sit in front of the fire, drink hot cocoa and examine their new treasure.

Read the Fairy Tale!

Once upon a time, in a land by the river, there were three princesses. These were not just your ordinary, every day princess who went to balls and banquets. These were three princesses’ who possessed a special higher learning. They understood the mysteries of make believe.

They could bend water and sun to make rainbows. They could hear the beat of the butterfly wings and turn it into dance. They could see the enchantment of the world around them. These three princesses’s embraced their community but could not find a proper place to call home.

As they wondered near the river they came to a most magnificent structure. It reached up to the clouds, had a welcoming front area to sit and invited the girls inside. As the girls looked out the large front window, they could see all the marvelous pieces of the world outside. It almost felt like they were among the woodland creatures. They knew then, that this home would now be their very own Princess Playhouse.
